Author Guidelines

Jurnal Sahabat ISNU SU welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and reviews in the field of education. Authors are expected to follow the guidelines below when preparing their manuscripts.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, have not been published elsewhere, and are not under consideration in other journals.

  • The manuscript should be written in clear academic English or Indonesian.

  • The plagiarism level must be below 30%, verified through plagiarism detection software.

2. Manuscript Format

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx)

  • Length: 4,000 – 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

  • Paper size: A4, single column, 1.5 spacing, margin 2.5 cm on all sides.

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.

3. Structure of the Manuscript

The manuscript should generally include the following sections:

  1. Title – concise and informative, maximum 15 words.

  2. Author Information – full name(s), institutional affiliation(s), and email of corresponding author.

  3. Abstract – 150–250 words, written in English and Indonesian, including research objectives, methods, and main findings.

  4. Keywords – 3 to 5 words/phrases separated by commas.

  5. Introduction – background, research gap, objectives, and significance.

  6. Literature Review (if applicable) – theoretical foundation and relevant previous studies.

  7. Methodology – research design, participants, instruments, data collection, and analysis techniques.

  8. Results and Discussion – presentation of findings supported with analysis and interpretation.

  9. Conclusion – summary of key findings, implications, and recommendations.

  10. Acknowledgments (if any).

  11. References – only cite relevant and up-to-date works.

4. Citation and References

  • Authors must use APA Style (7th edition) for in-text citations and reference lists.

  • It is highly recommended to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

5. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be clearly labeled, numbered consecutively, and referenced in the text.

  • Images must be of high quality (minimum 300 dpi).

6. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online submission system.

  • Authors must register and log in to submit and track their manuscripts.

7. Peer Review Policy

  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial editorial screening and a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers.

  • The review process ensures objectivity, originality, academic quality, and contribution to the field of education.

8. Publication Fee

  • Authors may be subject to publication fees as determined by the editorial board. Details will be provided upon manuscript acceptance.

9. Copyright and Open Access Policy

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

  • The published articles are open access under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA), allowing others to share and adapt the work with appropriate credit.
