Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  • General Requirements

    • Manuscripts submitted must be original, have not been published elsewhere, and are not under consideration in other journals.

    • The manuscript should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia with clear, concise, and academic language.

    • All manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening with a maximum similarity index of 20%.

  • Manuscript Format

    • Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

    • Use Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing, A4 paper, margin 3-3-3-3 cm.

    • Length: 5,000–8,000 words including references, tables, and figures.

    • Page numbers should be placed at the bottom right corner.

  • Structure of the Manuscript

    • Title: Clear, specific, and not more than 15 words.

    • Author’s Information: Full name (without academic titles), affiliation, and email.

    • Abstract: 150–250 words, written in English and Bahasa Indonesia, containing purpose, method, results, and conclusion.

    • Keywords: 3–5 words/phrases.

    • Introduction: Background, research gap, and objectives.

    • Literature Review / Theoretical Framework.

    • Methodology: Research design, data sources, analysis methods.

    • Results and Discussion: Findings with critical analysis.

    • Conclusion and Recommendations.

    • References.

  • Tables and Figures

    • Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially (Table 1, Figure 1, etc.).

    • Each must include a clear title and source (if applicable).

    • Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi).

  • Citation and References

    • Authors are required to use Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote as a reference manager.

    • The citation and reference style follows the APA 7th Edition.

    • Examples:

      • In-text citation: (Smith, 2020), (Anderson & Lee, 2021), or (Johnson et al., 2019).

      • Reference list:

        • Book: Smith, J. (2020). Education in the 21st Century. Oxford University Press.

        • Journal Article: Brown, P., & Miller, R. (2019). Inclusive education policy. Journal of Education Studies, 12(3), 45–60. https://doi.org/xxxx

  • Submission and Review Process

    • Manuscripts should be submitted through the online journal system.

    • Each submission will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

    • Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts before acceptance.

  • Publication Ethics

    • The journal follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

    • Authors must ensure research integrity, avoid plagiarism, and disclose conflicts of interest.

  • Copyright and Open Access Policy

    • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

    • Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License, allowing sharing with proper attribution.
